OUR CONCEPT OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Empowering communities for a sustainable future
At MET Green Division, our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is deeply rooted in influential global frameworks and regulations, including EU's Clean Energy for All Europeans package, the concepts outlined in the European Green Deal as well as United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We envision a world where every individual embraces sustainable energy consumption, makes informed decisions and actively engages in the green transition.
Driving sustainable consumption
We aim to inspire communities to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives, making a tangible impact on their carbon footprint. By aligning with the UN's SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), we contribute to the global effort to combat climate change.
Green transition in daily practice
We go beyond rhetoric – we make the green transition a tangible reality in daily life, in line with ISO 26000:2010 standards. Our initiatives bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that sustainable principles become ingrained in the fabric of communities.
OUR CAMPAIGNS
The green community award campaigns are opportunities for energy communities to showcase and improve themselves, encouraging others to go green through their own examples.
Kindergartners are introduced to important sustainability topics such as conscious shopping and eating, waste selection and reduction, and composting, all these in a playful way.
Parallel to the construction of renewable energy assets, we show that rainwater is an important natural resource, alongside wind and sun, which can be used with care.
